ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Aloha!  I'm Jen, the Owner and Photographer at A Place In Time Photography, LLC.

After spending 14 amazing years on the island of Maui, I have been fortunate enough to bring my business back to the mainland and excitedly serve clients throughout Western Utah in the Park City, Salt Lake City and Tooele areas.  I offer not only portrait sessions for families and couples but I also provide photography guiding services to transport clients out to our stunning West Desert where you can view, photograph and learn about the completely captivating Onaqui Wild Horses.  (to learn more about a guided tour click here)

I have always been very passionate about being able to capture inspiring and candid moments through the lens.  Digital artistry and a creative eye for detail enables me to preserve a special little niche of time to reflect back on for years to come.  Hence the development of the business name A Place In Time Photography, LLC.

This simple way of looking at things, one moment at a time, is how I approach all of my creative sessions with clients.

I absolutely love being able to capture the very best memories for clients & being able to provide what many say are their favorite heartfelt images together. I've become an expert when it comes to navigating the always changing weather conditions, natural lighting & those little ones who may not be as excited about taking pictures as their parents. I pride myself in creating a relaxed, comfortable shoot environment so that genuine smiles will fill your images from start to finish and your walls at home shortly afterwards.

The passion that drives me both personally and professionally, in a nutshell, is to be able to give back as much as possible both within our local community as well as internationally - especially when it comes to environmental protection, conservation and animal welfare.  Promoting environmental stewardship is something always at the forefront of my mind.

I have been fortunate to be able to share my images with not only hundreds of special clients, but with

  • National Geographic
  • Canon USA
  • National Geographic Uganda
  • WildPlanet Photo Magazine
  • WildEarth Guardians
  • Alaska Chamber of Commerce
  • Dwell Magazine
  • Luxury Home Magazine
  • Christies International
  • & various National Park Services just to name a few.

I am so fortunate to have been able to found a 501(c)(3) called Red Birds Trust with four other wonderful wild horse advocates with the aim to preserve and protect the Onaqui Wild Horse both on the range and after adoption.  You can learn more by clicking here.

Thank you for taking this moment of your time to learn a little more about me and the driving force behind my images.  I look forward to answering any questions you may have in hopes of working together in the future.
